| ||Favourite Stir Fry Sauce & Marinade
| ||This recipe is a staple in our oriental
cooking and much tastier and healthier than any bottled sauce. It can be used as a marinade for meats or just added to a hot pan or wok for a quick
veggie stir fry.
80ml soy sauce
40ml rice wine vinegar
10-30ml chili sauce
3-4 cloves garlic, chopped
1-2 tablespoons grated, fresh ginger
50g chopped fresh greens (pak choi, Chinese cabbage)
Combine all ingredients
(except greens) in a medium bowl; stir well with a whisk. If marinading, add diced meat to bowl, cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Heat pan
or wok till very hot, then add meat with marinade and cook till done. Add veggies at last minute and cover pan to steam, turn off heat. Serve
immediately with cooked rice or noodles.
