To provide fresh and flavour-packed, high quality produce and artisan foods to the local community and those across the UK is the mission
of Cwrtau Bach Deli Foods. Our story began in 2007 when Steve began designing and building a steel and timber frame greenhouse bigger than our house.
Abour a year and half later we were ready to begin planting. We enlisted the help of friends with horicultural knowledge to get us going in the right direction,
recommending gardening methods, soil improvements, and time management techniques. In 2009, we added a 90-foot polytunnel to the business for a total greenhouse growing space around 5,000 square feet.
Needless to say, it has been a massive learning curve, fighting against pests and disease and weather.
However, we have persevered, and most recently, have added our homemade sauces and preserves to our list of
products. Originally we set out to grow a range of tomato and chile varieties, but we've found diversifying is better for customers and the soil!
As proprietors of Cwrtau Bach Deli Foods, our unique background brings a special element to the business.
Steve hails originally from North Wales but moved to the USA as a young lad and Pam was born and bred in
the suburbs of Washington, DC. With our exposure to a wide range of ethnic and local cuisine and our
passion for food, we aim to bring different flavours of the world to our local customers.
